Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: From Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park transfer

Your safari adventure starts off with an early and quick departure from Kampala heading north through Uganda’s scenic countryside. On your way, there is going to be a stop by Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will be able to track the endangered southern white rhinos up close—an exciting and heartening conservation experience.
Drive on to Murchison Falls National Park where the Nile River splits the area into an upper and lower section to the north and south respectively. Right after arrival, go right at the top of Murchison Falls and see the spectacular view of the Nile forcing its way through a gorge that is just 7 meters wide and then dropping down 43 meters. The rest of the evening will be savored at your lodge in nature’s gentle company.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Nile Boat Safari
Start the day very early to have a game drive across the northern section of the savanna. Lions trailing Uganda kobs, elephants munching, and gentle giants that are giraffes taking their stroll across the grassland are some of the sights you will see. Apart from the lions, the park is rich with other wildlife including buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, and a great number of birds.
In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride on the Nile River leading to the foot of Murchison Falls. See the hippos taking their bath, crocodiles basking, and elephants drinking water along the river. The boat also provides you with a very good platform to take pictures from and experience wildlife viewing.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, a scenic drive will take you southwest to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the most visited safari spot in Uganda. The trip will reward your eyes with picturesque views of the Albertine Rift Valley, old-school villages, and lush plantations of bananas.
Upon reaching, go for a very short evening game ride and try spotting elephants, antelopes, and warthogs before it gets dark. Go to your lodge facing the Kazinga Channel, have dinner, and watch the African sunset.

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Today’s fun starts with a morning game drive through the plains of Kasenyi, the land of lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes. With the wide-open savannah, there will be excellent chances for taking photos and witnessing wildlife in its most natural state.
The next thing after lunch will be a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel which is the waterway that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. This two-hour trip is a haven for bird watchers and photographers. Hippos are in water having fun, elephants are there drinking cool water, and all sorts of birds like kingfishers, pelicans, and African fish eagles are flying around.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Return to Kampala
Post breakfast, travel to Kyambura Gorge, where you will do an exciting chimpanzee tracking. The hike through the jungle forest leads you to see the chimps quite near as they swing from tree to tree and you also may get to see other primates and birds.
After the hike, you will start your drive back to Kampala and arrive in the evening. Think back on your wonderful safari—filled with adventure, discovery, and unforgettable memories of Uganda’s wild and beautiful nature.
