If you are lucky, you may even come across a lion family doing a hunt or a reserved leopard lying on branches.
Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls
+
The Nile, the longest river in Africa, presents a mesmerizing boat ride towards the foot of Murchison Falls. On the way, the boats coming near the hippos who are soaking in the sun and the crocodiles sunbathing on the river banks and elephants getting a drink at the river are the customary sights. The landscape is now so much more captivating as one nears the thundering base of the falls where one is taken in by the mist, rainbows, and the sound of the cascading confluence.
Hike to the Top of the Falls
+
For the daring souls among travelers, the hiking to the summit of Murchison Falls will be one of the safari’s most satisfying moments. The trek you will take along will reveal the Nile’s remarkable strength as it is made to squeeze through a narrow chasm before disappearing into the Devil’s Cauldron. The panorama from the top is absolutely mind-blowing—an ideal place for capturing images and pondering.

On the way to Murchison Falls, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary—the only site in Uganda where one can spot rhinos in their natural state. This sanctuary shelters white rhinos which were reintroduced as a part of the Uganda's conservation projects.
