Day 7: Kitandara – Guy Yeoman Hut (3,261m) After breakfast, head up to Freshfield Pass (4,282m) for stellar views of the Rwenzori ranges before descending along rocky terrain and boggy ground to Guy Yeoman Hut. Wonderful sections for photo stops also provide chances to spot Rwenzori turacos. Day 8: Guy Yeoman – Nyakalengija – Kasese It is all downhill in the bamboo forest and lush vegetation zones toward Nyabitaba and then Nyakalengija. Celebrate your accomplishment at the base before being transferred to your lodge in Kasese for a hot shower, some relaxation, and dinner. Day 9: Kasese – Entebbe / Kampala After having breakfast, you will embark on a leisurely trip traveling back to either Entebbe or Kampala after passing through wonderful places and local villages. You may want to take some photos at the Equator and do some souvenir shopping before your departure flight.
