Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala – Kidepo Valley National Park
Kidepo is the park that you will be visiting when you wake up and leave Kampala or Entebbe. The drive is a long one but very worthwhile because it takes you through northern Uganda, a region with a lot of history, culture, and natural beauty. You will be greeted by the road that threads through lovely landscape small villages, places where cattle are grazing, and mountains that are far away.
You will have lunch on the way most probably in Gulu or Kitgum before driving on to the Karamoja region where the savannahs are. As you travel, you will notice the scenery changing from the lushness of the greenery to the open plains; this signals that you are crossing into the wild part of Uganda.

Day 2: Narus Valley Morning and Afternoon Game Drives

Now you are ready to go on the road to Kidepo Valley through the landscape of your dreams. Stop by the dry Kidepo River basin, it is just sand that is extremely hot and shimmering under the sun. You will be lucky here to spot ostriches, kudus, and the birds that are unique to this area.
